Our Sponsors, Supporters, Friends!

ANNOUNCEMENT! It is with deep sadness and disappointment that Jazz Forward Initiative, Inc. (JFI) has decided to cancel the 2020 Mo Jazz Music Festival. We did not reach this decision lightly. With the continuation of issues surrounding public performances during the Covid19 pandemic, we felt it best to err on the side of caution, choosing safety as the final say. We hope those looking forward to this event can understand how we came to this conclusion. Already we have spoken with Rose Park and have started plans for the next Mo Jazz Music Festival, to take place there early in September 2021. And fear not! We plan to create and stream a retrospective/compilation video of previous Jazz Festival performances later this year, including recordings from as far back as 1993. You might see glimpses of well-established mid-Missouri jazz musicians when they were mere youngsters plying their trade.
